your wellness journey
Every journey at Spine to Soul starts with a complimentary virtual consultation. During our conversation, we'll discuss your health history, including any injuries, surgeries, medical conditions, or other factors that may impact your movement and overall well-being.
We'll also explore your current lifestyle, stress levels, movement habits, and wellness goals so I can gain a complete picture of where you are and where you'd like to be. Whether you're seeking private Pilates instruction, rehabilitation-focused movement, holistic wellness services, or a combination of approaches, we'll create a personalized plan tailored to your unique needs.
This is also an opportunity to ask questions, share concerns, and ensure you feel confident and supported before beginning your journey.
Our session will be
-
Personalized
No two bodies or goals are the same. Every client begins with a consultation, allowing Erica to create a customized plan based on your unique needs, lifestyle, movement history, and wellness goals. Whether you're seeking Pilates instruction, injury recovery support, improved mobility, or a more holistic approach to wellness, your plan is designed specifically for you.
-
Intentional
Every session has a purpose. Rather than following a generic workout or wellness program, each movement, exercise, and recommendation is carefully selected to support your goals and help you make meaningful progress. Through thoughtful, targeted guidance, you'll build strength, confidence, resilience, and lasting results.
-
Holistic
True wellness extends beyond the physical body. Through a whole-person approach, Erica considers how movement, mindset, stress, recovery, and overall well-being work together. When appropriate, services such as rehabilitation-focused movement, Reiki, and other wellness practices can be integrated to support healing from the inside out.

Your first session begins with a conversation about your goals, movement history, lifestyle, injuries, and any concerns you may have. From there, we'll move through a personalized assessment and introductory session so Erica can better understand how your body moves. Together, we'll create a plan designed to help you achieve your goals safely and effectively.
-
Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, a water bottle, and an open mind. Socks are optional, however if you choose to wear them ones with grip are most effective to reduce slipping. Barefoot is best which is another reason the studio and equipment are thoroughly cleaned after each session.
-
Rather than offering discounts, we provide a complimentary consultation with Erica. This allows us to discuss your goals, answer your questions, and ensure we're creating the right plan for your needs from the very beginning.
-
Erica works with individuals of all ages and fitness levels, including beginners, active adults, those recovering from injuries, and people seeking a more balanced approach to wellness.

Consistency is best when looking for long, lasting results. Ideally 2-3 times weekly is optimal. However, once a week is also a good place to start and you can build from there. Joe Pilates said "In 10 sessions, you'll feel a difference, in 20 sessions you'll see a difference and in 30 sessions you'll have a completely new body." While we know that may be very ambitious for most people, it is a testament to the results that consistency can provide.
-
In-person, one-to-one sessions are best so that we can start to build your goals and ensure you are moving correctly to prevent injury and receive optimal benefits. In-person sessions also help build client and instructor trust and connection. Having a personal connection is part of what makes the experience and journey special, as well as, allows me to better help you. In the future, virtual sessions can be added however they would not include any of the Pilates equipment unless one has purchased them for their home.
-
That's completely normal. The best place to start is with a complimentary consultation. We'll discuss your goals, concerns, and questions, then determine the best plan to help you move, heal, and align with confidence.
-
Many clients come to Spine to Soul specifically because they are managing an injury, chronic pain, movement limitation, or medical condition. Please share any relevant health history, surgeries, diagnoses, or concerns before your session so accommodations can be made. Every plan is customized with your safety, comfort, and long-term progress in mind, and exercises will always be modified as needed.

-
Many clients seek Pilates to improve posture, core strength, mobility, and overall movement quality. While every person is different, Pilates can be an excellent complement to a wellness or rehabilitation plan.
-
Yes. Pilates develops deep core strength, stability, balance, and functional movement patterns that support everyday life.
-
Pilates can be an excellent way to support the body during pregnancy and postpartum recovery. As with all exercise, clearance from your doctor should be given particularly if during or after pregnancy there are any complications that need to be considered. Like any condition, Pilates can be adapted for your specific needs. Pilates is a great way to keep your body, especially core strong during your pregnancy as well as to help gain it back postpartum. Erica has worked with many clients over the years with both clients and has witnessed amazing results.
-
Clients often report improved strength, posture, mobility, body awareness, confidence, reduced pain, and a greater sense of connection to themselves.
wellness + Healing
-
Additional services including rehab based and therapeutic exercises, stretching and soft tissue mobilization when needed, along with reiki and energy healing services can be purchased in addition to your Pilates packages or separately. The need for these services will be discussed in your initial consult and can be revisited at any time while working with Erica and it may be beneficial initially or at some point down the road. General pricing can be given upon request.
-
Reiki is a gentle energy healing practice that supports relaxation and overall well-being. It is offered as an optional service and is never required.
-
That's absolutely an option. While Pilates is the foundation of Spine to Soul, some clients choose to focus solely on rehabilitation-focused movement, Reiki, or wellness services. During your consultation, we'll discuss your needs and create a customized plan and pricing structure that aligns with your goals.
-

For nearly 20 years, I've helped clients build strength, improve mobility, reduce pain, and reconnect with their bodies through Pilates.
My journey began when I discovered that movement could be a source of healing rather than punishment. Since then, I've combined my experience as a Certified Pilates instructor, Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, and Reiki practitioner to create a holistic approach that supports the mind, body, and soul.
At Spine to Soul, my mission is simple: to help you move with greater ease, feel stronger, and find freedom in your body.
